My Work: your daily view

My Work: your daily view

My Work is your personal landing page in KAMI Tasks. It answers one question — what needs my attention today? — without you having to trawl boards or filters.

What needs your attention

The top of the page collects your open tickets into the four buckets that matter, so nothing slips:

  • Overdue — past their due date
  • Due today
  • Due this week
  • Blocked — stuck and flagged as such

If those buckets are empty, you are up to date.

My sprint progress

A live picture of your part of the active sprint: how complete your assigned work is, how many days remain, and your time position — estimate, logged and remaining across your open tasks.

If there is no active sprint for your projects, this section says so rather than showing stale numbers.

💡 The time figures are only as good as your inputs. My Work will nudge you to set time estimates on tasks — do it, or "remaining" means nothing. See Estimates and logging time.

The rest of the page

  • Open task breakdown — your open tickets grouped so you can see the shape of your workload
  • Recently assigned to you — what has just landed on your plate
  • Recently completed — what you have shipped, which is worth more than a feeling at review time

You can also create a ticket straight from here without going to the board first.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

Q: My sprint progress shows "no active sprint" but we are mid-sprint. The sprint may not have been moved to Active in the Sprint Manager — its status is set by hand, not by the calendar. Ask whoever runs your sprints. See Sprints.

Q: A ticket I finished still shows in my buckets. Its status hasn't been moved to a done column. Update the ticket — My Work reads ticket state, it doesn't guess.
